🛒 INGREDIENTS FOR 4 SERVINGS :

  • 200 g rolled oats
  • 50 g fresh pomace (e.g. apple, carrot or pear pomace)
  • 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 50 g nuts (almonds, hazelnuts or walnuts, roughly chopped)
  • 30 g of seeds of your choice (sunflower, pumpkin or chia seeds)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 pinch of salt

👨‍🍳 PREPARATION :

  1. Preheat oven to 160 °C (fan-assisted).
  2. Mix rolled oats, pomace, nuts, seeds, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.
  3. Mix honey (or maple syrup) with melted coconut oil and pour over the mixture. Mix everything well until it is slightly sticky.
  4. Spread evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes, turning once after 10 minutes to ensure it becomes nice and evenly crispy.
  6. Allow to cool completely – it only becomes truly crunchy once it cools down.
  7. Store in an airtight glass jar and enjoy with yogurt, milk or fresh fruit, for example.
