Crunchy granola is made from pomace.
After juicing, pomace remains – perfect for a crunchy granola!

🛒 INGREDIENTS FOR 4 SERVINGS :
- 200 g rolled oats
- 50 g fresh pomace (e.g. apple, carrot or pear pomace)
- 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
- 50 g nuts (almonds, hazelnuts or walnuts, roughly chopped)
- 30 g of seeds of your choice (sunflower, pumpkin or chia seeds)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1 pinch of salt
👨🍳 PREPARATION :
- Preheat oven to 160 °C (fan-assisted).
- Mix rolled oats, pomace, nuts, seeds, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.
- Mix honey (or maple syrup) with melted coconut oil and pour over the mixture. Mix everything well until it is slightly sticky.
- Spread evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes, turning once after 10 minutes to ensure it becomes nice and evenly crispy.
- Allow to cool completely – it only becomes truly crunchy once it cools down.
- Store in an airtight glass jar and enjoy with yogurt, milk or fresh fruit, for example.
