Total time: 15 min | Preparation time: 15 min

🛒 INGREDIENTS FOR 12 PIECES (approx. 4 servings) :

  • 200 g pomace (e.g. from carrots, apples or beets – depending on the juice)
  • 100g pitted dates
  • 80 g rolled oats (quick or coarse, as desired)
  • 2 tbsp nut butter (e.g. almond or peanut butter)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon or cocoa powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Optional: desiccated coconut, cocoa nibs or sesame seeds for rolling.

👨‍🍳 PREPARATION :

Prepare the pomace:
Use the fresh pulp from the Hurom juicer. If it is very moist, squeeze it lightly.

Mix dates:
Process the dates and nut butter in a blender or food processor until a creamy paste forms.

Mix everything together:
Add pomace, rolled oats, chia seeds, spices, and salt. Knead well until a malleable dough forms.

Forming balls:
Roll small balls (approx. 2–3 cm in diameter) with slightly damp hands.

Optional:
Roll in coconut flakes, cocoa or sesame seeds for extra crunch.

Cool:
Leave to set in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Then they're ready to snack on!
