Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Hurom juicer residue (e.g., vegetable and fruit peel residue)
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup almonds or nuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (e.g. raisins, dried apricots, figs)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of salt

Preparation:

  1. Preparing the Leftovers: Check the juicer's leftovers and make sure they are clean and free of unwanted pieces.
  2. Oven preparation: Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Processing the leftovers: Put the leftovers from the juicer into a food processor or blender and process them into a coarse paste.
  4. Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the leftover paste with oats, chopped almonds or nuts, dried fruit, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until smooth.
  5. Forming the cubes: Press the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. You can make the mixture about 1-2 cm thick. Use a knife to cut the mixture into small cubes or bars.
  6. Baking: Bake the snack cubes in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
  7. Let cool and enjoy: Let the cubes cool completely on the baking tray.

Enjoy this healthy and delicious snack.
