
Festive winter juice in layered look (red, green, white)
Ingredients:
Red layer (base)
- 1 beetroot (peeled)
- 1 apple (core)
- 1 small orange (peeled)
- 1 small handful of cranberries (optional, for a more intense red tone)
- 1 carrot (peeled)
Green layer (middle)
- A handful of fresh spinach or kale
- 1 kiwi (peeled)
- 1/4 cucumber
- A few mint leaves (for a fresh taste)
- 1 small piece of ginger (optional, for a little spice)
White layer (foam on top)
- 100 ml plant-based milk (e.g. oat or almond milk) or lightly whipped plant-based foam (if your slow juicer has this function)
- A little lemon juice (for a slight acidity)
- Optional: A pinch of vanilla powder or a hint of cinnamon for a Christmassy aroma
Preparation:
- Red layer: Add the ingredients for the red layer one at a time to the Hurom slow juicer and press the juice. Pour the juice into the glasses, filling them about halfway.
- Green layer: Rinse the juicer briefly or use it directly for the green layer. Juice the ingredients for the green layer and carefully pour over the red layer to avoid mixing the layers (it's best to pour slowly or use a spoon to cushion the flow).
- White layer: Lightly froth the plant-based milk (for example, in a milk frother) and add a dash of lemon juice. Pour the frothed milk over the green layer as the top layer.
- Decoration: Optionally decorate the juice with a mint leaf or a pinch of cinnamon on the foam.
Tips:
- For the layered effect: Pour each layer slowly over a spoon held close to the juice to avoid mixing.
- Swap ingredients: If certain ingredients are hard to find, you can also add pomegranate to the red layer and green apple to the green layer.
