Autumn Pear Boost

Your vitamin boost for gray autumn days.
As the days get shorter, your body needs extra energy. Mix yourself a power juice with grapes, pear & ginger – fresh & full of antioxidants!

🛒 INGREDIENTS FOR 2 GLASSES :

  • 2 medium-sized ripe pears
  • 200 g grapes (green or red, depending on preference)
  • 1 handful of fresh spinach or baby spinach (alternatively: kale, if available)
  • 2 cm fresh ginger
  • ½ lemon (juice)
  • Optional: 1 small celery stalk for extra freshness

👨‍🍳 PREPARATION :

  1. Wash the pears thoroughly (organic → with peel, otherwise peel) and cut into large pieces.
  2. Rinse the grapes.
  3. Wash the spinach thoroughly, removing any soil or sand.
  4. Peel or thoroughly brush the ginger.
  5. Put everything into the juicer: first pears, then grapes, then spinach/kale, ginger, and finally lemon.
  6. If desired, you can add a celery stalk – this makes the juice more bitter and richer in minerals.
  7. Stir well and drink immediately!

🥗 SEASONALITY (Autumn / Winter in Switzerland):

  • Spinach : freshly available in autumn, in winter more likely from greenhouses.
  • Kale : a typical winter vegetable, very rich in vitamins.
  • Pears & grapes : regionally top in September/October, afterwards more suitable for storage.
  • Celery : available fresh well into winter.
